Customer information

Privacy Policy

We want you to understand what happens to the information you enter. This policy explains how our catalogue, browser-based cart, demonstration checkout and contact options handle personal information.

Your information, explained clearly

01Scope of this policy

This policy applies to your use of the Kumawat Tiles and Sanitary House website, including product browsing, saved cart selections, the local order form and the demonstration contact form. You can explore the catalogue without creating an account or providing personal details. The website does not include a login system, customer database or online payment gateway.

There is an important distinction between using the demonstration forms and contacting the business directly. Information typed into the forms is handled in your browser as explained below. Information that you choose to send through your own email service or share during a telephone conversation is part of a separate enquiry and is not managed by the website’s local form system.

02Information you choose to provide

The checkout asks for your full name, email, house or flat number, street or area, landmark, city, state and PIN code. You may also enter optional notes. Product selections include the product identity, colour, size, quantity and displayed demonstration price. These details allow the page to prepare a local order summary and reference.

The contact form asks for a name, email and message. Enter only information relevant to a product question or your intended project. Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, bank details, government identification, medical information or documents containing sensitive personal data. If you are exploring the demonstration only, you may use clearly fictional example details instead of real personal information.

03How the cart uses browser storage

The cart is saved in localStorage on the browser and device you are using. This allows your selected products and quantities to remain available after refreshing a page or returning to the website. Checkout selections are also stored locally so the separate order page can display the products you chose. There is no customer account that synchronises these selections between devices.

Browser storage can behave differently in private browsing, restricted browser profiles and locally opened files. If storage is unavailable, the website displays a warning rather than promising persistence. Removing a product updates the local cart. Completing a cart checkout clears the cart; a direct product checkout preserves unrelated cart selections. Clearing the site’s browser data removes all stored selections.

04Local order records and retention

After a valid demonstration checkout, the latest order record is saved in the same browser. It contains the entered customer details, product selections, a generated reference, the demonstration total and the displayed Cash on Delivery method. The record does not establish that a purchase was accepted, payment was made or delivery was arranged. No copy is sent to the store by the checkout.

There is no automatic expiry timer for this local record. It remains until it is replaced by a later local order, cleared through browser settings or removed by the browser itself. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to view stored data. Avoid entering personal details on a shared device, and clear site data when you have finished testing the order experience.

05Contact forms and direct enquiries

The contact form validates your entries, displays the requested demonstration acknowledgement and clears its fields. The form does not send an email, create a support ticket or save your message as a customer enquiry. Its confirmation text should therefore not be interpreted as evidence that a team member received the message or will respond to it.

For an actual enquiry, use the email link or the telephone details on the Contact Us page. An email link opens your selected email application; you decide whether to compose and send the message. When you contact the business separately, provide the information needed to answer your question. You can ask directly about the handling or correction of information supplied in that conversation.

06Website assets and external services

The logo and product images are included in the website’s assets. The design may request optional fonts from Google Fonts. A font request can disclose ordinary connection information, such as an IP address and browser request details, to that service. If fonts cannot load, the website uses system-font alternatives so the catalogue remains readable.

The website does not contain advertising pixels, marketing analytics, newsletter subscriptions or social-media widgets. The hosting service may process normal request or security logs under its own arrangements. The deployed private preview may also be subject to the hosting platform’s access controls. This policy describes the storefront itself and does not replace the terms or privacy notices of your browser, email provider or hosting platform.

07Your controls and choices

You may browse products without using either form, remove individual products from the cart, or erase local website data using your browser’s privacy or site-settings controls. Clearing data also removes the saved cart, pending checkout and latest local order. A copy you have separately saved or an email you have sent is not removed by clearing the website’s storage.

If information you sent directly to the business needs to be corrected or discussed, email care.kumawattiles@gmail.com and describe the enquiry concerned. Include enough context to identify the conversation, but avoid attaching unnecessary identity documents. Browser-local data cannot be remotely retrieved, corrected or deleted by the business through this static website; it must be managed on the device where it was entered.

08Security and responsible use

Local browser storage is not a secure document vault and is not application-level encrypted storage. Protect the device and browser profile you use, especially on shared or public computers. Do not rely on a local confirmation page as the only record of a real transaction, and do not store sensitive information in order notes or contact messages.

No online payment details are requested or processed by this website. If you encounter a page or message asking for payment credentials while presenting itself as part of this demonstration checkout, verify the request directly with the business before acting. The absence of a backend limits what the storefront can transmit, but it does not make a shared device or an external email service private.

09Questions and future changes

For questions about this policy or information shared directly with the business, contact care.kumawattiles@gmail.com. Describe the issue, the part of the website involved and whether it concerns local browser data or a separate communication. This distinction helps avoid confusion about information that the business has never received.

If the website later gains real order processing, account features, analytics or another service that changes how information is handled, this policy should be reviewed and updated to reflect that operation. The current explanation applies to the static demonstration experience described here. Please review the page again when the website’s features change and before providing personal information through a new service.
